Measuring made simple
Roller shades work either inside the recess or over it. For blackout performance, outside mounting with side channels is the better choice.
Width
Recess: narrowest point minus 5 mm. Outside: opening plus 70 mm each side.
Drop
Top of the recess (or cassette position) to the sill plus 20 mm.
Clearance
Allow 65 mm depth for a 75 mm cassette.

Looking after your roller shade
Maintenance
- Dust the fabric with a soft brush every month.
- Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap; never rub in circles.
- Do not iron or tumble dry roller fabrics.
- Check the tube brackets once a year and tighten if the shade drifts.
